ConSol Mobile is comprised of two seperate modes that allow for the viewing and updating of orders both on and off-site. You can toggle between the two alternative modes via the button in the top right corner of any active order.
What is Plan mode?
Plan mode is the place to review an order's details and provide further context not related to on-site activity.
- Once selected, an order opens directly in Plan mode with the Summary tab in focus, enabling you to see job details, including the address and map of the job location, the due Date of completion, any special instructions and your customer’s contact details.
- The items tab details the work order items in scope for the job. From this screen you can add and edit quantities used for each item. Rates for items are not displayed.
- The documents tab provides an overview of any documents uploaded and details the history of images taken on site. This screen provides the option to upload documents and take images or video to provide further context to order details from a Supplier perspective, such as images of site maps or work vehicles. Images and videos of works being completed should be taken from Work Mode exclusively, as they lack the time stamping and geo-location meta data required to meet customer requirements when uploaded from Plan Mode.
- The Notes tab displays existing notes, and new job notes can be uploaded at any time. Any updates to this section will be visible to both Customers and Suppliers.
- The survey tab displays any surveys or checklists for the job that the customer requires.
What is Work Mode?
When transitioning from Plan to Work mode, users will be prompted to confirm they are at the order location and ready to begin work. Work mode is where updates to an in-progress job can be made.
Three tabs identify what stage the job is at whilst in Work Mode: Arrive, In Progress and Wrap up
Arrive: Take your arrival site photos here and make note of any relevant observations. Photos taken within the app will be watermarked with time, date, longitude and latitude, as well as Order ID.
In Progress: Clicking "START WORK" transitions a user to the In Progress screen. You can track your progress here by updating the used quantities on items and taking photographs of the job.
Wrap Up: When you have finished work for the day, press “READY TO LEAVE” to take you to the Wrap Up screen. Utilise this screen to take photos of the wrapped up work site and update item quantities to correctly reflect the work completed throughout the day. Selecting “WORK COMPLETE" indicates that your time on site is over. Should there be the need to return, press “SOME WORK REMAINS”. Orders marked as "WORK COMPLETE” will be moved from the active job worklist to the completed job worklist and users will be prompted to confirm they are now off-site. Completed jobs can be reactivated from the completed jobs worklist.
