ConSol Release Notes
My Work Changes:
We've worked very hard to upgrade the underlying technology for MyWork from Hibernate 5 to Hibernate 6, giving access to newer tools and libraries and allowing us to refresh the interface. Some of these key changes include:
Improved Search Functionality:
Default search criteria have been set for each myWork View Entity. Submitting a search without additional selections will now efficiently return relevant results.
Enhanced Operators:
New search operators make it easier to find exactly what you need, even with limited information.
Save and Share Views:
Users can save their frequently used searches as personal Views. Supervisors have the ability to share these Views with their teams, while system administrators can create and distribute global Views that are accessible to all members of the organisation.
Gallery Changes:
The ConSol Gallery tab has been improved with new features and technology:
- Rebuilt using Prime React for enhanced performance.
- Displays all uploaded artefacts by default, with hover-over popups showing key metadata.
- Non-image documents can now be downloaded, and images can be enlarged for better viewing.
- Accessible on View and Action order screens for completed orders.
Artefact Tagging:
Improvements have been made to artefact tagging to ensure higher-quality claims from suppliers.
- Customers can choose which items need artifacts uploaded and specify the required artifacts for each claim item.
- Suppliers cannot submit a claim for items that require artefacts until the necessary documents are linked.
- Colour coding has been added to show which artefacts fulfil multiple item requirements.
- Tagging is now as simple as clicking on an item and then linking the required artefact; or vice versa.
- Once all required tags are applied, a red cross changes to a green checkmark, indicating that the tagging is complete.
These changes simplify the tagging process and make it more intuitive for both customers and suppliers.
New Survey App:
We've integrated a new survey tool into ConSol, allowing for quick deployment of surveys, forms, checklists, and instructions linked to orders. These surveys, created by Yarris, can be easily customised and don't require a release if they use existing trigger points.
- Surveys can be triggered once per order or per user.
- Customisable formats: logos, conditional branching, and various question types like dropdowns, ratings, file uploads and signatures
- Surveys are viewable by suppliers and accessible to the customer configuration screen.
Animated Help Guides:
Help Guides now include GIFs to enhance the step-by-step instructions. This new feature adds a dynamic element to the guides, helping to clarify complex processes and improve overall user understanding
NOTE: In the upcoming Spring release, surveys will not be available in the ConSol mobile app, but they are planned to be included in the next update.
