ConSol Release Notes
Group Contract Management:
Customer users now have the ability to associate ConSol contracts with MSA contracts, which facilitates contract spend management. If there's interest in enabling this features, contact the support team to assist with configuration.
System Notifications signup:
Users are now able to manage their own system notification subscription preferences from their ‘My Details’ screen. They can nominate which, if any, of the following notification types they would like to receive:
- System Notification
- Feature Notifications
- UAT Invitations.
Single Sign-on:
- For companies using enterprise identity providers (e.g. Azure AD), ConSol can now be configured to allow Single-Sign-On, to both simplify the user experience and take advantage of more stringent security controls.
- Each company will have a specific icon on the login page to identify that access for their users may be subject to company Federation rules.
- Federation can be enforced (default) for all users within the company. Users requiring additional logins linked to the same verification email address will have these logins treated as un-federated and will follow the existing security access rules.
- Any companies wishing to utilise the new Single Sign-on functionality should contact our Support team for information on how to proceed. Depending on the Identity store being used, implementation and configuration costs may be incurred.
- Once the functionality is enabled, the SSO-enabled flag on the user management screens will control federated access for each user.
Enhanced security:
A recent penetration test outlined some potential security vulnerabilities, which have now been addressed.
Continuous improvement:
A number of small production issues in the following areas have been resolved:
- Document review process
- User management
- Invoice reversals
- Supplier registration
